    Most unusual

I can't recall Mt Mitchell state park ever being open this early. It was cool up there at the highest point east of the Mississippi but got up to 75 degs where I live in NE TN.

    Hey Jim,

Looks like the weather here on the East coast is running well above normal averages. Really hoping this translates into some great Spring riding! Although the April rains could be worse for it, but I will keep my fingers crossed for good weather on our late March ride.

I was doing an MSF class yesterday. Ambient temperatures were darn near 80 and probably higher if we'd measured on the black pavement of the parking lot. It's not normally this warm until we get closer to May. This is one strange year.

I spent a week in Los Angeles recently and while the weather was nice it was actually warmer in Cleveland than it was there some of the time. Very crazy weather for sure, average temp this time of year is 47 for a high, and we've had highs in the 60s and 70s for the past couple of weeks.
