There is now an album open and ready for your photos of the 2012 Big Lynn Lodge event.
The album is located in the gallery section under State Events, North Carolina.
Looking forward to seeing the event photos.
Brick,
Yes, we did "super slab" it home. As an IBA rider a few times over, 650 miles in 12 hours is no big deal to me. Denice on the other hand had a "numb bum" when we arrived.
Ride safe, hard, and frequently!

Just one request, Brick. Schedule your event on a weekend different from our Ride For Kids event. I want to do both!

What R the dates of the RFK event?
I already set it for next year July 26 - 28th... Sorry if it conflicts but I also had lots of conflicts with other events at the BLL.

When considering that there are only 365 days in a year and approximately 52 weekends...conflicts should be expected with happening events. It seems that every weekend at least 2, 3, or 4 things are scheduled, but a person can only be in one place at a time. An individual must make choices of which one takes priority based on their responsibilities, abilities, and desires. It's a way of life...

Beth, couldn't agree with you more. I once heard someone say something like "Life is what happens despite the plans you've made." So, we can all plan as much as we want, but sometimes life changes those. Ride em if you got em.
I think after 2 years it automatically becomes a tradition...... BLL, last weekend in July... and thats easy to remember.
Also, I think Vickie said a number of people had already made their reservations for next year before we even left Sunday. I do know there was a Harley group in the back on Saturday plotting to get rooms with a better view for next year, so you might want to call now to get your room choice if you are considering coming next year. You can always cancel if something comes up and you cant make it.
I take a classic European view .... a motorcycle is primary transport.
I think the BLL dates are probably more firm than the Knoxville RFK. As others have said, we can't do it all. Heck, there were several years when I didn't even get to attend STAR due to our ride being on conflicting dates.

You are correct. No matter how much planning goes into something, often more than not, daily life has a way of changing those plans on occasion. Since Memorial Day weekend, BlueRidgeKat and I have experienced that first-hand...after all, none of us are guaranteed a tomorrow, so live life to the fullest today and enjoy it the best you can!
