Daytona 2012

Anyone besides me going to Daytona 2012? I'm lucky enough to get a place to stay with Dan Thomas... MSTA member from WA. So we will hit lots of races. I'm so very ready for a trip!
Supercross 3/10 at DIS
Flat Track 3/15 & 16 DIS flat track
Road Racing all week and Daytona 200 3/17 at DIS.

I'll be there with a few Memphis friends but not in time for the Supercross but the rest of the week.
Looks like we'll be around Greenville, SC on Sat and planning on riding some of the area southeast of the Gap on Sun. and then heading on down on Monday.
I'm definitely planning on being at the lunch on Thursday to see if they still have that wonderful peanut butter pie.

I'll be there Saturday for the Supercross; riding south on Thursday 3/8, attending the NHRA Gatornationals qualifying at Gainesville on Friday, (You simply MUST witness the 8000 hp Top-Fuel dragsters in person at least once in your life. 0-100 mph in less than one second, in the first 60 feet, and 325+ mph in 1000 feet!) Daytona on Saturday, and back to Roebling Road for the CCS road races on Sunday.

Gary I've been to the one south of Dallas a few years back when it was delayed because of Katrina. Had a blast and keep up with it on TV and would love to go again. Good friend here in the metro used to build cars for John Force "before there was money in racing" and I went with him and his son so got a lot of inside information

Which Friday? Are you speaking of the Supercross stuff on the 9th or the Road Racing = Daytona 200?

Matt and I are staying at a Motorcycle Touring Network home just north of Daytona. Beautiful house, $20. per night.
