    Garage expansion needed

I may have more motorcycles than I need, while updating my garage on the "new and improved forum" I exceed my gagage space at five bikes. Not a big deal; however, if we are going to be limited I may revise the bikes that I listed. Thanks, Gary

I understood there is no such problem as too many bikes, only not enough room for the bikes you have (or time to ride/maintain them).

I currently have 3 (the most in my years of riding), but one is currently not running. And that is low or average by MSTA standards. I'd bet if we took a poll we'd find less than 20% of members have only one bike.

Not referring to MSTA members here, but just motorcycle owners in general, one bike works just fine for lots (most?) of people. I work with a guy who owns a cruiser and hasn't been on it in a year and a half. Then theres all of those who ride a little while on a Saturday or Sunday if the temperature is "just right", the sun is shining and there's a 0% chance of rain.

For those like me where riding, modifying or maintaining a motorcycle is your only hobby as well as primary transportation, then I think you have to find a way to own at least two. I commute everyday possible (40miles total) and thanks to a mild winter have only had to drive a four wheeled creature 8 times this year and hopefully there wont be a ninth. Then there are day rides when I'm off or 2 to 3 day weekend tours when possible. I dont ride anywhere near the total miles per year that many of you do, but do ride somewhere almost every single day. Point being, I can't imagine owning only one and it having a major problem, being in the shop, a crash, waiting on parts etc.... I would go insane. In my case, the addiction makes having a backup almost a must. Fortunately, even in this bad economy I have been able to keep a backup.
I take a classic European view .... a motorcycle is primary transport.

Will have more than 5 bikes to list after this weekend.

Could not enter my Aprilia Dorsoduro 750. Any help on that will be appreciated. Aprilia is there, but it will not take Dorsoduro 750.

    Thanks,

    Tony,
Now don't you think that IF you had a time when none of your bikes were running... that Beth just might see it in her heart to allow you to ride one of her's???
    Pokin' atcha!! :D

You are 100% right, she would indeed. However........... if I scratched it or broke something you know that you would never live it down. Just as soon drive the old S-10 truck than take the chance.

    Thanks,
Seems a bit of recently added code was causing issues with the garage entries. You should be able to add your bike now...as far as I can tell I got it all fixed.
