Local forums will be handled through the social group feature. If you would like a forum for your area, select the Community drop down at the top of the page, then select social groups. Click on the link that says create new social group. After creating your social group, go to your group and look for the create social forum link. Click on the link and a new forum will show up on the home page for your group. Keep in mind, if you create a group, you will be responsible for maintaining it.

Each social group has it's own messaging system, calendar and gallery.
