How often will the map be updated? It seems there are many more registered users on the new forum than show on the map ...

Member's are not added to the map automatically, you must add yourself. You can do this by clicking on the map link, then clicking on the Your Entry link. After I get the forum sorted, I will begin adding instructions for using all of the special forum features.

Anyone got an idea of what is causing that? Is it another example of operator (me) error?

No, the map software isn't designed for this version of vBulletin. Leonard tried to add an image to his marker which made everyone's marker disappear (Leonard didn't do anything wrong). Then I, being the inept coder that I am, decided to "fix" it. There's your error. It should be fixed now...really...

Glad I did not break it permanently. The program seemed to insist on an entry to the image box, so I tried it. Good to see that it is working although we appear to have lost one of the previous registered members on the map. It will be fun to see the map fill in ... Thanks, Jon. It is amazing what you do here.

Just put your forum username in all of the boxes except the URL of the image for the marker box, you can leave it blank...
