I haven't yet seen anything about availability of GPS routes for the NGC. Will there be any? If there will, could they be made available this week to allow time to load them into a GPS unit and make sure that everything is working?

I have all the routes from the 2011 NGC.
They can be used again this year except we have a new motel as a start point.
But I'm sure people can figure that out.

If I have time I'll change them for the new motel location by the end of this week and give the link to Matt Thornton so people that have registered for the event will have access to the GPS routes.

The GPS routes for the NGC are available for all that are registered for the event.
If you are registered contact event coordinator Matt Thornton at
thorn2wheels@yahoo.com or 864-979-3626 for the link to download the files.

The files will be available at the event for those not pre-registered.

Really an outstanding job with the GPS routes and instructions! Including the actual tracks for comparison purposes was surely a lot of extra effort but seems like the answer to our chronic route distribution/map discrepancy problems.

Will probably rain all weekend next year! I think I was the only person from Ohio at Helen this year. Were was everyone?

What a great weekend! Had a fun time with the three state route. The event had a great turnout, and the weather was perfect on Saturday - never above 75 degrees in the mountains. Thanks to everyone that planned the event and Doug for his GPS and maps!
