This was my first MSTA event and I know there will be more to come. Thanks to Tosh & Katherine for letting me know about this group. Everybody I met and talked to where great people and welcomed me with a smile. I also had the honor of eating with "Moose" & Ron the first night and I felt like I was on the " Archie Bunker Show " with Edith & Archie. Those two guys have nothing but big love for each other. Anyway, I hope to attend the Snow Shoe West Virginia Colors Event. Thanks again for a great 1st MSTA memory.

Yep, another great event. Even with that pesky rain on Saturday. The door prize session under neath the covered parking entrance was a hoot, especially when Jon went into "free-for-all" mode and just started throwing stuff into the crowd.

Yep we had a great turn out for the Fly-By. The final numbers were 181 registered / 171 signed in / 18 new members. We are somewhat sure the this was the largest attendance ever at a MSTA/HSTA regional event. We will shoot for 200 next year!

This was the "Boss" and my first MPFB. We had a fantastic time!
Finally got to meet several members that I had either talked with over the phone or emailed from time to time.
This was a first class event, well worth the ride up! -JEP-

So, when are you coming back to explore that newly discovered road? I've ordered dual sport tires for the Versys so I'll be ready...It was great to meet you, Diane and John. Friday's ride was perfect, even with the detour...did you here the banjos?

Kris and I had a great time, as always! But probably even better this year. Glen and Debbie did an outstanding job keeping us fed. The porkchops were excellent! I got to ride some roads and sections of roads I hadn't been on before, and many of the roads in that area are wearing fresh, smooth asphalt. Thanks Bill for leading our group! Registration was a breeze and the doorprize "ceremony" was fun. Congratulations Jay on the richly-deserved Ohio MOTY.

It was wonderful to hang out with so many great people again. Can't wait until next year!

If you haven't been to the Mail Pouch Fly-By, or it's been a few years, you owe it to yourself to attend. It keeps getting better.

Once again, I should have gone.....I rode down in S.E Ohio Sunday, I passed a ton of bikes going the other way on 83, 78, 26, 260...I stopped by in Marietta, but everybody was out riding by then. A friend of mine stopped by the motel Saturday, and talked to versysrider, (he was on a BMW F650).

    Jim,

By Sunday morning most people were on their way home. I don't think many people stick around and stay Sunday night. Some do come down on Thursday or earlier. The rain Saturday into Sunday morning did make some of the roads a little slippery.

26 was a blast, especially with all the fresh pavement from Woodsfield south. My friend and I rode up through the forest that morning (on a pair of 5th Gen VFRs, one red one yellow).

I think I saw your friend come in Saturday morning just as I was pulling out of the lot. You are right about missing a good event. It is always a blast and one of the best run IMHO.
