Rotella T (now T6) now for 5 years. Available, recommended, cheap.

My DRZ400 has a dipstick between the steering head and the tank. (No, the dipstick is NOT me!) Oil reservoir is in the frame.

But seriously, have been a long time Castrol GTX guy with regular 3K changes. Most recent batch is multi S rating, SN, SM, SL, SJ?

However, on two used bikes I acquired with lowe mileage, I'm sticking with the prior owners choices Mobil 1 in one and Rotella in the other. Will be switching to one of those on my high mileage (50K) VFR.
    High mileage? Ha!
I've got 130,000 on my VFR, all on Rotella Synthetic changed at 6000 and still no top ups needed between changes.

Uh Oh, it's starting I use safflower oil, but only when sesame oil isn't available. Never, but never use canola oil. There isn't a canola plant, it is a combination of Canada and Oil without any real formula. Remember some bikes are allergic to peanut oil.
