Steve Kirkendoll update

I hope today is a better one for the Kirkendoll clan.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Rallies are not the same without Steve!

We heard from Julie yesterday and Steve is doing better:

"Praise God for answered prayers.

Steve is awake and alert today.
They had him up in a chair and starting on breathing exercises.


"I love you babe" never sounded so sweet.



One concern: He has signs of infection somewhere, so they are busy chasing
that down and starting treatment.


I think he will stay in ICU at least another day. It depends on what happens
with the infection. Let's pray they get it under control quickly.

Hope things are continuing to improve for the entire family and Steve is good as new real soon.

The visiting lamp is lit!!! I stopped by to see Steve today (10-16-12) on the way to 2WT here in Indy. He's looking better all the time. He hopes to be getting out of the hospital this weekend. He is currently in room 5312 but that could change at any moment. So, check at the desk upon arrival.
Steve tells me that he feels 10 times better today and he did yesterday and yesterday he felt 10 times better than the day before.
Good new all around.
PS For the first time since I've known Steve, I told him "This week, for the first time ever, I've got more miles than you did!!!"
