I'm thinking of leaving Austin around 9 a.m. Friday and taking the looong way to Kerrville. There never seems to be enough time on Saturday to ride all the great roads, so I thought I'd take Friday to ride some roads I hadn't been on in awhile. Head out past Wimberley to Hwy 32 to 473 and 474 into Boerne. Then Hwy 46 to 16 and 470 to Tarpley for lunch at Mac & Ernie's. The last 2 times I went to M & E's I didn't get to eat a burger. The first time they were closed for a staff vacation and the 2nd time we arrived too early for lunch. I'm hoping 3rd time will be a charm. After lunch continue west on 470 and then north on 187 to the Lone Star Motorcycle Museum. Then on to Hwy 39 into Hunt to look for Stonehenge II. I hadn't seen it since they relocated it.

Anyone in the area want to join me for all or part of the route?
