    Hi from Swampeast Misery!

Just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone! I live in Southeast Missouri and currently ride a 2008 BMW R1200RT and have been riding for 45 years now, starting out on a 1965 Honda Sport 50, with many, many bikes in between. I hope to speak with all of you more and learn what I can. Thanks for listening!

    Ron

    Hi Ron,
I think most of our regular forum members are out riding this weekend as there are several different rally's going on around the country.

There is a MSTA event in Dillard, GA, I was at a FZ1 rally in Harrison, AR, there was a VFR rally and a ST rally at the Hub in Arkansas also. Plus probably other local rides as the weather was fantastic.

I'm not going to make the Buddie's of Bruce rally as I've ran out of vacation and it's a bit over 500 miles up to southeast MO for me. I will make the Just for Fun - Arkanas Byway Boogie in Ozark, AR in Oct since I can run that in about 4 boring hours down I-40. Not going to make the Texas Hill Country either. Both great rallies I just had to choose this year between local rallies and riding 10 days in the Alps

Do the B.O.B. rally and you will meet a lot of fantastic people and new friends.

    Anyway welcome to the forum.

    Ron,

There will be a rally in your town October 5-7 called the Buddies of Bruce. Stop in and say hello, you'll find lots of folks there who will be happy to talk to you about our club. Likely, if you attend and pay for the event, you'll get a year's free membership in the club - most of the rallies do that, but I can't speak for certain on this one. Our regional events like the Buddies of Bruce are a great time and ome of the best features of being an MSTA member. I just finished up coordinating the SE-STAR event in Dillard, GA and we had a great time.
