Great event, love the location! Not looking like we'll make it this year though. Good luck!
It's a non event this year since we haven't been able to get the numbers up. This is the information I have.
We are moving the Byway Boogie from Paris, Arkansas to Ozark, Arkansas on Scenic Byway 23 better known as the Arkansas Pig Trail. The reality is any road you take in this area is world class sport touring nirvana.
The dates are October 19 – 21, 2012.
The main event motel is the Oxford Inn, 305 N 18th Street, Ozark, AR 72949. www.oxfordinnozark.com. Ph # 479-667-1131
This is a newer facility which is highly recommended. There are 32 rooms available, 21 doubles & 10 King. The price will range from $65 to $69 per night. Make your reservations now. The whole motel is blocked until September 19th, 2012.
A backup motel is available also, the Ozark Inn, 1711 W Commercial St, Ozark, AR 72949, Ph# 479-667-1500. This motel is of equal quality as the Paris Inn our former location & the price is the same at (currently) $50 per night. They have 31 rooms available.
The Saturday night banquet “could” be Ribeye steak or chicken, baked potato, side salad & Pie! (Yes, I ordered homemade pie!) The café is located next to the Ozark Inn and is three blocks from the Oxford Inn at the Hillbilly Cabin Café, ph # 479-667-3865. This cafe is biker friendly!

The hotel said they still have a few rooms left - better book now - they are holding them until tomorrow - then they will have to release.
Bill may come on Friday - I won't arrive until Saturday afternoon at the earliest - have a company picnic to go to on Saturday.
Be ready for some more incredibly lame door prizes - I'm at it again!
Looking forward to seeing everyone,

Less than a week away. Do we have any idea or routes or lunch spot this year?
There are plenty of good roads and I'd be happy just to run up and down 123 a couple of times![]()
Oark is under new ownership but it's too close for lunch unless we do a loop around and up to it.
I'm just ready for a nice weekend and a few twisty roads.

BTW there is a huge new gas station on the north side of I-40 at Arkansas 23 exit. I assume it's open by now as it's been probably 3 months since I've been across that way. Also seems like there was a liquor store on that side of the interstate but I do know that at least it's not a dry county like the Paris location was.

Yes, that big gas station is open. There is a liquor store just up 23 from it.
If we decide on a lunch spot, then I'll send an email to let everyone else know so they can meet up there.
I will be there Saturday about 5 - I have a big company picnic that morning.
I'll be in the car because I still have the cast on my hand.
What time is the Saturday night dinner?

Hey Gayla,
Sent Robert a facebook message and he just figured we'd do about the same as last year. I was looking at the map and we could probably do 352 over to 164 and that little back road across from 103 to 21 then up 123, 16, 74 which would be about 125 to lunch.
But you know this group they can always find somewhere to rideI really haven't heard too much input but Gary Hodges was planning on it and even Mark and Ellen were thinking about coming down for it. They have a VFR1200 instead of the FJR now. Tom's coming and I don't know if he'll talk anyone else from that direction into it. Plus John Wood was planning on it last I heard.
I assume Bill will be coming, what about Linda? I would hope that Becky and Bill make it also and Steve and Barbara.
I'm looking forward to it and the weekend is shaping up to be pretty nice.
I'm supposed to work all day Friday but hope to bail out by 2 and do a 3 1/2 hour run down I-40 - boring but fast.

Denise:
Are you talking about Gilbert? It used to be TatorBugs or something, it changed it's name last year, I can't remember what the new name is.
Send me an email and I'll send emails to the list.
Thanks,
