Tony, It's great to see you're riding again!

The Tiger is loaded and ready to depart first thing Wednesday morning taking the long way to the Ozarks from Virginia.
After crossing into Southeastern Kentucky and knocking out the first 30 miles or so, all roads loading into the GPS will be "new to me" KY backroads all the way to the Mississippi River and will slow the pace down to the point of turning it into a full two days before arriving late Thursday in Isabella MO. Looking forward to the weekend!

That's great news Tony!
Wish we were going too. -JEP-

Arrived in the Bull Shoals area after some great MO roads just in time to unpack and watch a downpour and fireworks show which thankfully cooled off the humid 95 degree temps. This was much better than Wednesday where I managed to find a downpour/storm every other hour for 12 hours from one end of Kentucky to the other but thats ok because it just continued to confirm my belief that the Pilot Road 3 is the best all weather street tire I have ever had. Lost a tailbag rain cover that I had for years during crosswinds from one of the storms, never had that happen before and watched a barn burn that had been hit by lightning.

So you are the other bike that's already there? Talked to William Eldridge tonight and he's there already in one of the cottages. He's riding a 650 VStrom and plans on heading probably west if he does the route I suggested. He said he fell asleep during the downpour but woke up to find the stars out and another bike parked close by. Told him to go knock on the door as it was sure to be another MSTA rider.
I'm headed out in the morning and don't now where we'll hit the cold front at but it's sure to have storms attached. I'm debating on soft luggage or to just take the Givi and not worry about it.
I'm meeting another rider around 8:30 or 9 and heading up the turnpike to Tulsa and then getting off onto the fun roads after that. Probably hit 90 and 76 in southwest Missouri avoid Branson before tooling across 160.
See everyone tomorrow afternoon sometime.

I'm here. Tenting it. Soft grounds and high winds don't bode well for tents. The vestibule on my tent gave way. On the lucky side my rain gear got wet. On the unlucky side my boots got soaked cause I was up at the event eating hot dogs and the vestibule blew over the boots allowing them to get rained on.
