    Greetings from West Michigan!

Good evening folks! Nice forum and looking forward to riding with some new people. I enjoy running THE PACE, bike travel and camping. I'm riding a 2011 VStrom 650 set up for gravel, easy two tracks and twisties. Lets ride!

    Welcome Steve!

We've got a good bunch of folks in the Michigan area, so here's hoping you'll be able to connect with them. One of the best ways to connect with anyone in the MSTA is to attend one of our regional events. For instance, we have an event this weekend in SE Ohio called the Mail Pouch Fly By. I'm sure there will be several Michigan riders there. If you do attend an event and don't know anyone, don't be bashful about asking someone if you can ride along with them. We have a group of people that volunteer for the Members Assistance Program (MAP) to help new members get acquainted with the MSTA. Ask about that.
My personal plug is to make sure you know about the Ride For Kids. Mike Traynor and his wife, Dianne, the folks that started the Ride For Kids/Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation were long time members of the MSTA. We adopted the RFK as our club charity, so we have some kind of fund raiser at many of our events.

Let us know if you have any questions about the MSTA.
