What are the Credits listed under my post

I noticed that when I post a message I see Credits listed??? What are they for? See below... I have 293 Credits... is that good?

Wow, great minds think alike Brick. I noticed the credits yesterday and wondered the same thing. If you click on the credits you'll see a list of where you got and spent credits, as well as the top credit users.

Your's truly leads that category, so maybe it isn't a good thing

I did notice that I "spent credits" with one of my posts, but not sure why. Did I say something bad, or offend some people? Is this from some form of rating or liking a post? (The post was edited, did I remove somethig that previously earned me credits?)

What can I buy with my over 350 credits?

Nah I think its primarily based on number and possibly length of posts (as mine are rarely short). I know it isn't age because I'm far from the oldest member on the forum. Heck I'm not even 50 yet, so just a youngster by MSTA average age.

In the MSTA not only am I a spring chicken, I'm like a little hatchling. (At 47 with the average MSTA member being closer to 60.)

Its all in good fun, these guys know I like and respect them, right Brick

Besides if it wasn't for my older siblings and the wisdom of the older members in the MSTA I wouldn't be the motorcyclist I am today.
