GREAT!!!
Glad to hear MSTAman is alive and well and still mooching rides.
I thought he had gone to that Super Hero Heaven in the sky. -JEP-
Couldn't find the original thread, probably lost in the great big abyss of the internet.
Poor MSTA Man was abandonded after STAR in Avon, I guess nobody was willing to take him on to the the next event. Somebody turned him over to me as we were preparing to leave on our trip to Yellowstone after STAR. Since my bags were all packed and pretty full, he was put in the truck to wait for our return trip.
He enjoyed the long rest while we were out riding and sight seeing, but said he would have preferred to go with us. He sure was complaining about the long drive back to Ohio and kept telling us how we were wusses for not riding like all the rest of the hard core riders in the MSTA. I was about to toss him out the window in the middle of Kansas and let him hitch a ride. But that infectious smile of his, I just couldn't do it.
He's chilling his heels at my place now, waiting for the Mail Pouch Fly By in about 5 weeks. I'll take him down there and pass him along to some other unsuspecting sole headed to another upcoming MSTA event. (All you guys with bikes from IN, IL, MO check for stowaways before leaving.) Maybe I'll take him with me to AMA Vintage Days this weekend, wonder if he's been to Mid-Ohio before?
Warning : The guys a bit of a party animal, and has kept me up with his singing a few times, something about "Rocky Mountain High, Colorado...." Not sure what you folks did to him at STAR, but he's seems a little strange now. I also noticed that my flask of 12 year old whiskey seems lower each day, but I don't remember drinking any the night before.
PS I've got the book too and will make some updates to it.![]()

Surely he could find his way down to the River City Ride even before the MPFB. Who's gonna volunteer?

MSTA Man went to AMA Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio. Poor guy had been cooped up at my place for a quite a while after returning from STAR. He had a great time, even though there was a very small crowd. Saw lots of cool bikes and watched some fun racing.
I'd be happy to pass him off to somebody to take to RCR, contact me so we can set up a place and time to meet. Otherwise he'll continue his vacation in beautiful Fairlawn Ohio until I bring him MPFB. He might get out for a few weekend rides with the local NE OH MSTA group during that time.

MSTA continues to be busy the past few weeks. Two weeks ago it was a local NE Ohio lunch ride to Peggy Sue's for food and pie, where we were pleased to run into a group of the southern OH MSTA folks. Last weekend he joined me at Indy MotoGP, sorry we didn't make the burger burn or run into more MSTA folks.
This weekend MSTA Man will be headed to Mail Pouch Fly By. I'm not sure if I'll make another rally this year, if so it will be Fall Color ride, which is another 6 weeks or so away. So I'd like to find another person to pass MSTA man on to so maybe he can make it to one of the other upcoming rallies. If interested look for me at Mail Pouch (ask Jon Campbell, Woovis, or Coach to identify me). If there are no volunteers I'll be asking some of the regulars to help out.
