Don,
By Noon everyone will be out riding, usually the parking will be empty by 9AM in my experience.
HTH and welcome to MSTA!
Hi I'm a new member. I'm considering the Mail Pouch Fly By. I have 2 questions. The form doesn't say where to send the registration entry and I'm unaware of what would be the "normal" if there is such a thing. Also in working out family and work considerations I might only be able to get there by noon on Saturday. Is there enough to get into arriving at noon or do I miss the Saturday rides? It might be possible to come in late Friday night (3:00 AM). Anyhow that's what I need to know so I can decide. Thanks! It sounds like a great time.

OK, This is the last line on the form but in searching the website I did find how to Contact Jon Campbell. So is Sunday a go home day with no rides? I'm not sure I can handle working second shift, driving 2 and a half hours to Marietta and then getting up early to ride all day but I might try if that's my only option. If Sunday has rides also I know I'll come down for Saturday evening and ride on Sunday. Thanks for the answers!
Here's the link to the full form. I blame software for the missing info ;-)

Sunday is the day when some people go ride in WV before going home. Weather dependent, of course.

Don,
Got your email and responded, was out of town riding after the national rally out west.
As far as the riding and all that, yes people are mostly right by noon most people are out riding. By 2-3 some of the early birds are returning, while others might ride until dinner or later.
Not sure what other groups or clubs you've ridden with and what their rallies are like. But the MSTA has suggested routes for their rallies, and people go ride in small groups on their own. Usually with other people they know, whether they be friends from their own local area or others from the club that they only see at rallies. There are no organized large group rides leaving at set times with structured start times.
I usually to ride down Friday morning, and return Sunday. Sometimes I have another day free before or after the rally to ride more in SE OH or parts of WV.
I hope you can make it to Mail Pouch. If you are going contact me for further info, and we'll try to hook up with you at the rally and introduce you to some of the other NE Ohio group.

I've been to more than one rally where I can only make Saturday - not a big deal. Show up at the event hotel around 5, get some good riding in on your own on the way down. Meet up with the organizers and get your packet before dinner. Go to dinner, eat, meet some great people! Maybe you can plan a ride home on Sunday with some folks who're going your way.
Most important thing - Go Ride!
Hope you enjoy it; I've never made Mail Pouch but I hope to one of these days.
