Tom.....when he was growing up in the northern suburbs, where you are was considered Siberia! People moved out to that area and were never heard from again...........![]()
My last day (Sunday) of droning across Oklahoma and Missouri, I tried something I hadn't done before. I emptied my Darien jacket pockets of essential stuff and packed them full of ice whenever I stopped. The ice melted, the water leaked out the zippers and down the front of the jacket (but not far before evaporating), and the pockets and jacket were completely dry by the time I stopped again. I'd like to say it helped a lot, but that might be an overstatement. It did seem to help some.

Actually, years ago when I worked in Blue Ash (if anyone knows where that is) I thought my area was really out in the boondocks. When I moved here, it was a 8 mile commute. Just seemed so out there at the time.
BTW, I'm a jen-u-wine Sycamore graduate with a real live deeploema!! Let's not talk about the year.
When I lived in Blue Ash, on Kenwood Rd near Hunt Rd, it was all residences, now there are none in that area. We used to winter sled ride on the hill that is now the YMCA. I used to ride my mini bike in the area where they were clearing to build the Cross County Hwy, now its called the Ronald Reagan Hwy. My first job at 12 yrs old was pumping gas at the Imperial gas station.
