Hello from Louisville, Ky

I've been lurking here for a while, been riding all my life. I'm 55 yrs old and have accumulated 500,000 motorcycle miles on many different bikes. Currently riding a Yamaha Super Tenere that has become one of the best all around bikes that I have owned. I'm not crazy, well at least in my mind but I still enjoy riding at a mildly aggressive pace.
I'm a married, self employed empty nester, my wife doesnt ride much any more but does enjoy day rides in good weather.

That Super T just may be my next bike. Several members own one.
You should look up new members Bob & Wendy Burkhardt, also from Louisville (in the Blue Book).

I have met a couple of MSTA members that are Super Tenere owners, Fred from Illinois and Will from Indiana.
I have met 2 other Tenere owners here in Louisville but I have not met Bob and Wendy, maybe we'll get the opportunity to fix that.

I went to highschool in the northern Cincinnati suburbs but left Ohio in about 1980 to return to the family farm in Kentucky.

Welcome to the MSTA forum. I just got back today from riding my Super Tenere to the MSTA STAR event in CO. Put on exactly 4500 miles. Great time, but the last few days featured some brutal heat.

I started out at Sycamore and finished up at Lockland.
