Old GS1100G rider in TN but new to forum

Hi. I go by the name of Willie on most forums. I've been riding for quite a few decades and have been fortunate enough to have ridden in most of the Continental US, CN, Mexico, Germany and Switzerland. I spent a dozen yrs enjoying the canyons of CA from the Mexican border to north of SF, but prefer where I am now, NE TN. As for bikes, I recently thinned out the old herd to 3 "keepers" by selling my GTS1000 and '82 GS1100G. *I kept a cafed Buffalo that I've owned since '79, an '83 GS1100G and a fairly trick Hawk GT650. I guess thats about all thats worth reporting. I'm looking forward to being a contributing *member here and hope to add as much as I get back.

Welcome aboard Willie. That sounds like quite a riding history you have there.
The welcome responses might be bit lower than the norm right now as a lot of our members are on the road enroute to Colorado for our national rally, STAR 2012. Last year it was just down the road from you in Johnson City, TN.
Hope to meet you at one of our events. -JEP-

Welcome........I am a part time resident of Middle Tenn. , but enjoy riding in the eastern part of the state very much. We have several events either in that area, or close by, every year. Hope to meet you at one of those sometime.

See you made it Willie. Hang tight as others will come on board. Not all MSTA members use the site and forum, but there are several in the TriCities area, and as our Florida member points out, many who do use the forum are on the way to Colorado. They will chime in as time goes on. Use the forum tools to subscribe to your introduction thread and you will be notified of responses.

    Willie,

Welcome to MSTA! I hope that you will like what we have to offer. To me it is the best club/organization I have found. I will put in a plug for the Mail Pouch Fly By in Marietta, Ohio the weekend of August 24th. I always have a great time and it is a good location with lots of fun roads.
