Will pass this on to Suzie Q from NoMar.
This is one of their best events.
I'm lucky their shop is close by.
Just stop in and wait, for new tire install.

It's worth it to pay extra for the tire if they do the complete removal/installation at an event. Have only been to one event so far, but this service is "great" in my opinion.

Started out with a Harbor Freight tire stand & another brand balancer. Eventually moved up to a
Cycle Hill (by No-Mar) and No-Mar balancer. Really appreciate the quality of No-Mar equipment. Even
use No-Mar spoons with phenolic tips to install tires instead of the tire install bar. Have 5 bikes on the road with one slow build project, if I would stop riding long enough to finish it. Change "lots" of tires and like using No-Mar equipment.

Sue from No Mar will probably chime in here soon, but the standard deal is that if you bring the new tire and the wheel, off the bike, they will change it for $25 plus $5 tire disposal fee. If you bring the wheel and buy the tire from them, installation is free. If you bring the bike (they remove the wheel) and buy the tire from them, then it's $30 total for the installation and disposal fee.

If they are removing the wheel, etc., it takes about 20 minutes to do the work.

They discount their tires by about 20% off retail pricing. That's not always the cheapest price, but it's reasonable in my book.

Hi Guys...Sue from No-Mar here. Yes, we will mount tires that you have shipped to the Hotel. You do not need to buy them from us however we would appreciate it. We only make $25 a tire so we can somewhat compete with the Internet prices. By the time you have them shipped it ends up all the same. Maybe a difference of 5-10 dollars.
    * If you bring us the wheel and tire the cost is $25 each wheel/tire plus $5 tire disposal.
    * If you have us take it off of your bike it is an Extra $25-50 depending on the type of bike.
    See you in Avon.

Wow! Didn't know this thread was still going strong. The final chapter to this thread I started is that I purchased an extra rear wheel for my RT and a new PR3 (arrived Monday) has been mounted as of yesterday, so I have a fresh tire to head out to Avon on. But that's a good deal on tires and mounting from No-Mar. I find having that spare wheel comes in very handy, had one for my RS also. Great when you go out in the garage for a ride and discover the rear is flat and you have riders meeting up with you in 45 minutes.

    See you in Avon..

    Sue... errr... "me",
    Glad to hear from you!

You gonna bring any tires in case someone needs them? I don't think i'll need them but then that's me. You remember I've limped my way to No-Mar to get tires before!

My Super T takes a different size/type... been running the Bridgestone Battle wings or the Metzler Torence EXPS.

Nope, leave it open as there are unanswered questions to Sue...I don't think anyone was really offended, just differing points of view.

    Brick,
Spoke w/ Sue last evening at dinner and she assured me they would have a selection of tires. However, if you want them to have your specific needs, you should give her a call.
