Birck, you pobably typed Kay, as in short for OK or okay.
Also, to go to the first unread post in a thread, you can click the little blue down arrow button to the left of a thread title to go to the first unread post (this is how I normally do it combined with the New Posts function). If I had more time I'd add a picture highlighting it.

Steve, I'll try to explain this and maybe you can remember. On this new version of the forum, I can click on "New Posts" and I get all the new posts. I can go in and read a couple or leave this "New Posts" screen open. If I want to refresh the "New Posts" screen it appears I have to back out to the Forum page and then select "New Posts". With the old version, I thought I remembered, there was always a "New Posts" selection on top of the screen to refresh the "New Posts" screen.

That is the new post listing, so the "New Posts" link will not show, since you are viewing the list of new posts. If you click on one of the new posts, read it, then click the previous page browser button, you are reloading the previously viewed page, so the post you just read will still show. if you click on the post, read it, then scroll to the top of the page and click "New Posts", the list will be refreshed.
Al,
I don't remember that but then I wasn't trying to use it. I always just click New Posts then click one inside that to read. When I'm done with that thread I click the New Posts again . If you are looking for a way to refresh the New Posts page while you have it open that may not be possible. I don't know much about the forum software but it appears the New Posts is just a special kind of search.
