I haven't heard anything pro or con from anyone yet about the new law.
My usual responce to aren't you hot wearing all that stuff "I'd rather sweat than bleed.".
A woman wearing shorts and a tank top and riding in a convertible once asked me if I wasn't awfully hot wearing my full leathers in Death Valley in June, (en route to STAR '91) to which I responded that it wasn't too bad as long as I was moving. I explained that the most uncomfortable part of me was the 2 inches at each wrist between the cuff of the jacket and the gloves I was wearing that was exposed to the sun. The rest of me was in the shade, with a nice breeze due to all of the jacket zippers being open.
