Unless you just signed up for the event, you probably got an email from Harry with links to the GPS routes. At least I did, but maybe I'm just special.

Oh, please. Let me keep thinking I'm special. I've had friends who've been telling me for years that I'm special. At least that's what I think they were saying. Maybe it was that they thought that *I* thought I was special.

Geoffrey and Michael, clarification please. The links that were sent to attendees included the STAR routes, or actual GPS files (or links to them)?

I'm looking at my email right now (which I saved) and while I see a bunch of links to PDFs of the various suggested routes, I don't see anything with GPS files? Or did you have to request GPS routes?

There was also a recent thread started by Jon (Versysrider) with some GPS files for STAR2012,

Color me embarrassed. I just looked back at the emails and you are absolutely correct...they are pdf files of the routes, but not gps files.

You are also correct about Jon's recent post of the routes. I clicked on one of the links, opened the file with MapSource, and then saved it as something I can look at later. I'll bet they correspond to the pdf files that Harry sent.

The links sent by Harry are turn by turn directions in PDF format. The files I added are GPS files, all routes included in the one file.

Downloaded the file from Jon's link and renamed it.
I'll split it out to a bunch of files for my own organisation.

No problems Geoffrey, I wouldn't have known but I've got the email saved to start reviewing the routes soon. And now I've got the GPS files too. I just need to get a GPS
