    Nails in rear tires


    Do you see the nail? It goes through a tread block sideways and did not puncture the tire!
    It's like I won today!
    I am posting this from my iPhone and so the image may not go through. If it doesn't I'll post it from my computer.

    Yep you lucked out. I got a nail about that size (maybe longer) in the rear of my VFR at STAR in Staunton. Plugged fine with those mushroom type plugs, sealed well and ran until it needed to be replaced. (Steve @ NoMar told me that is as good as them patching from the inside if it had held its air level for a day or two)
