2012 DL650 V-Strom

Tuono mirrors look the same as the Dorsoduro mirrors and they work well for me. The difference may be the upright seating position & mirror location on the DD compared to the Tuono.

I have very little turbulence "helmet rattle" on my Vstrom since replacing the original windscreen with short mini screen. The large stock Vstrom mirrors probably contribute to the turbulence created by the stock windscreen. Before replacing the original Vstrom windscreen, the helmet rattle was terrible and if not corrected, would have sold the Vstrom. After fixing the turbulence problem, the Vstrom is the best all around bike in my garage, but the DD is still a "Hoot" to ride!

Just purchased a 2012 Adventure 650 and let me tell you that it is a great bike. I average almost 50 miles to the gallon and it is a very comfortable bike and handles great. I like the luggage as I can get all my stuff in the two bags. I also added a large top box which helps with carrying all my stuff. The price was great and it is very nimble. I replaced my BMW GS with this bike and I am glad I did. Go test ride one of these and you will know what I mean.
