I'm still planning on checking in Saturday. My bike is in the shop and was supposed to be ready yesterday. Now they are promising it tomorrow afternoon.
It's tough getting ready for a motorcycle trip with no motorcycle in the garage.
I've only been in MSTA 2 years and this will be my second STAR!

Well... Scott, Norm and I are leaving Chicago in the morning!! We've got scattered T-storms forecasted through out the day on Thurs and then a FURNACE on Fri and Sat with highs in the triple digits... one of the numbers I saw is 106 !! Doesn't matter if we go north or south it's gonna be hot!! Camelbak and cooling vest will get a good workout

This'll be my 4 Star in a row, Scott's 3rd and Norms 1st !! And all 3 of us on Triumphs!!!!

Dave Schluter, Bob Burditt and I are heading to Avon on Saturday, via Taos, NM. Gotta get out of this TX heat for sure! See you on the other side of the divide......

Some of our NE Ohio group (John Rath, John Blackman and new member Mark Morel) left this morning and will be there Saturday evening. Rick Blum and I are leaving tomorrow morning towing the bikes out, and will also be there Saturday.

Hoping we get a break from the heat in CO/WY, its been really hot and dry here so far. Preparing for heat, as well as possible cooler temps while in Yellowstone after STAR.

Really looking forward to this rally, my first STAR in Avon, but the second time I've ridden in the area. Mix in a new bike, first time GPS use, sprinkle with plans to tour some of the great national parks in the area, toss in a generous amount of visiting with some of my old friends and two whole weeks away from work, it all adds up to...

See everybody in a few days.
