There are several Sportster dual sport conversions on ADVrider. A couple are very well sorted out. As for the GW, there was a mash up of a 4 cylinder Wing that was dual sported out. Not for th enovice dirt rider I would imagine but cool to look at!

I'd like to see a picture of the guy riding the bike- he probably stands up all the time!
The Harley Dual-Sportster is one of a very few DS bikes heavier than an R1200GS or a Super Tenere. Not as much power though.
