    Beth Maudlin Remembered

    Please find below the obit from today's Indianapolis Star.
    Beth and her late husband, Ron were extremely active in the Hoosier Squadron and the HSTA.
    Ron was the National Treasurer of the club for almost 10 years. Ron and Beth put on many a ride that we called the "Afterglow". These were major trips that started from STAR each year. Alaska, Lap of the Great Lakes, Southwest Tour & Nova Scotia to name a few.
    Beth has not been active since Ron's passing. It is still sad to know that she is gone.



    Beth Ann Maudlin

    65, of Indianapolis, passed away the morning of March 24, 2012. She was born August 16, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN, to Geraldine Mae Houghteling-Lee and Charles Wilmer (Bill) Lee.

    Beth married Ronald Ralph Maudlin on September 9, 1967, and he preceded her in death in August of 2000. She was a graduate of North Central High School 1964 and then went on to graduate Ball State University in 1968. She operated the Northeastern region of Miracle Ear, and was a member of the Honda Sport Touring Association. She loved to travel and spent much her time touring and camping throughout the US with her husband Ron and their dog Max.

    Beth is survived by her mother, Geraldine Houghteling; brother, Robert Allen Lee, daughter, Melinda S. Maudlin-Polizotto, and her Son David R. Maudlin; grandchildren, Zoe Polizotto (Melinda), and Jack Maudlin (David).

    No services will be held. A private family viewing was held on March 24, 2012.     I am sorry to hear this. Beth and Ron were both first class people and good friends. She will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.

    Oh I'm so sorry to hear this Beth was a great lady for sure. I'll always remember her and that contagious laugh of hers.
