Born in Iowa, moved to Rapid City, SD when 4 years old. Lived one year (1955-56) in Webster Groves, MO, then back to Rapid City. Moved to South Milwaukee, WI summer of '62 and graduated from South Milwaukee HS in 1964. Graduated BA in Accounting/Econ from College of Racine (WI) in 1969. Met wife Nan in 1973 at Trinity Memorial Hospital in 1973 while working there as accountant. Married November same year. Moved to Amarillo, TX in 1977 and worked as Associate Exec of United Way there until 1979 when we moved to Portland, OR. Lived here ever since, now in Newberg, OR. Three children, eight grandchildren...and counting.
